Programs

OASIS offers a wide variety of services as each client has a particular set of needs specific to their circumstances. Every new client undergoes an in-home assessment and evaluation to determine their precise needs for remaining in their home. Some clients simply need a wheelchair or minor in-home modifications, others need the gift of companionship on a regular basis, while others need weekly transportation, in-home modifications, and advocacy and support. 

In-Home Support

We offer a wide range of in-home support, from equipment and in-home modifications to weekly meetings with us to help with a few chores or simply chat, we ensure that every human need is met. 

Advocacy 

Navigating the changing world, especially while struggling to cope with the problems of aging is difficult to do alone. We know the ropes and help seniors through many new challenges, often times, finding a field expert to provide the best support.

Transportation

One of the most needed services for seniors is transportation. Many seniors are at-risk of losing their independence simply because they cannot drive. We provide transportation to grocery stores, medical appointments, and much more.

Mission 

OASIS, Older Adult Services and Intervention Systems, offers senior citizens the critical support they need to remain living within the comfort of their own homes. Services are provided with the belief that aging is not a disease and seniors live healthier, more productive lives when they are as independent as possible. Premature placement in nursing homes is costly from both a financial and human perspective. ​ There are no religious, gender, ethnic, or income qualifications necessary to receive OASIS services. 
 Catholic Charities OASIS is in need of the following items:​​
  • Adult incontinence supplies- all sizes, pull ups only
  • Bed Pads
  • Walkers with seats
  • Shower chairs
  • Quad canes
Items for our non-perishable food pantry include:​
  • Cereal- Low sugar and with fiber
  • Soups- especially chicken noodle low sodium
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned chicken
  • Canned fruit or the individual fruit cups
  • Ensure Nutritional Drinks​
