Catholic Charities of Los Angles, Inc., is the outreach arm of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. However, Catholic Charities neither receives nor gives any of its funding through the Archdioceses. Though we share the mission of spreading the mercy of Christ with the Church and Archdioceses, we are a financially independent organization. 

How to make a tax-free donation from your IRA

  • Donor must be at least 71 years of age at time of distribution 
  • Distribution must be from a Traditional or Roth IRA
  • Distribution must be made directly from IRA account to a qualifying charity, such as Catholic Charities of Ventura County
  • Qualified charitable distributions are limited to $100,000 per individual per year
  • Gifts made to a donor advised fund, supporting organization, or private foundation do not qualify

Vehicle Donations
