Support OASIS during this limited time donation match!
Only
days left!
For more than thirty years, OASIS has been a friendly voice, an advocate, a smiling face with transportation to shopping and medical care, birthday and holiday greetings and presents, and so much more for hundreds of seniors in Ventura County.
Supported by generous people from across our county, the staff and volunteers of OASIS provide services that mean the difference between safe, secure independent living and destitution and abandonment.
In the face of the dramatically increased demand for services for at-risk seniors, a local anonymous benefactor approached Catholic Charities to make a special challenge: they would match any new gift this March or April to support OASIS up to $15,000.
If our donors are able to contribute $15,000 by the end of April, we will have $30,000 to support the efforts of a new staffer and 10 to 15 volunteers.

Las Rosas Gala Luncheon 2020
Thank you to all those who helped to make our 2020 Las Rosas Gala Luncheon a great success! The Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks put on a fantastic event despite the difficult conditions. It was a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude for the blessings we have, the joy of the season, and to inspire camaraderie in giving. We were able to raise over $25,000 in support of Catholic Charities of Ventura County's programs and services, notably Moorpark Pantry Plus Shoe Program and OASIS.
We were privileged to honor George and Rosemary Esseff, who have long been supporters of Catholic Charities and the mission of mercifully serving the poor and underprivileged. We thank George and Rosemary for their years of service!
Again, thank you to all those who attended, and we look forward to seeing you all once again at our Las Rosas Gala this coming December!

COVID-19: Charity in a Time of Crisis
Our commitment to serve Ventura County remains strong during these unprecedented times. All four of our service programs remain operational and are implementing precautionary measures to increase safety in compliance with CDC, WHO, and local government guidelines. If you need help, please call our Service Centers. If you would like to extend a helping hand, please call our Development Department. Our prayers are with the victims of COVID-19, those undergoing treatment, and all first-responders and medical staff.
