The number of food insecure families and individuals in Ventura County is growing. We are combating hunger at the Moorpark Pantry Plus food pantry. Every Monday thru Saturday we offer nutritious food to families and individuals in need or a sack lunch for those in need of a single meal. Providing nourishment education to those most in need is an essential component to our food pantry operation, as well.

Back to School Shoe Program

Children who live in poverty are significantly more at-risk of under performing academically. We do our part to help students along the way of academic success by providing a fresh pair of shoes at the beginning of the school year. There's a catch.. Students must maintain a B average on their report card to be eligible for a pair of shoes. We help show students that academic success is attainable for everyone. Contact us below to learn how you or your child can receive a new pair of shoes in the Summer of 2021!

Birthday and Holiday Programs
|
We all know that special events throughout the year place a significant financial strain on many families, especially those who already live in poverty. The joy of sharing a meal with your family during the holidays or providing your child with a gift they will love on their birthday should be enjoyed by all. Every year, Moorpark Pantry Plus offers families a Thanksgiving meal and a Christmas gift give-away every year. If you or your child has a birthday, bring a legitimate form of ID during the birthday week to receive a gift.

Eviction PreventionOur Eviction Prevention Program provides families and individuals with the security of a roof over their heads and the happiness of remaining in their homes. By providing a rent or utility payment to those who desperately in-need, we are lowering the homeless population in Ventura County and keeping families in their homes. Clothing DistributionEvery Thursday we give away new and lightly used clothing. Clients are able to take any article(s) of clothing they need. Stop by if you are in need, clothing is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
