2021 Partners in Service

Still partnering with parishes throughout Ventura County!

Due to circumstances in our county and the world this year, we were unable to host our traditional Partners in Service dinner with all of our county parishes. Instead, we hosted our 20th annual Partners in Service Awards as an online video event!

A huge thank-you to all of our participating parishes, who took the time to film their awards presentations and support Catholic Charities of Ventura County once again!

We streamed the video presentation live on Sunday, May 16th, but the video is available on our YouTube channel!

All of our honorees this year are posted below, please check out their smiling faces and wonderful stories!

Martin Calderón

Martin Calderón
My name is Martin Calderón from Guanajuato, Mexico; it is my pleasure to help the church. My parents taught me to be helpful to others, especially when I can.  I would not say I like to go around showing off when I do something for others. As I was asked to serve, I couldn’t refuse. Thank you for giving me the opportunity and the trust you have in me.  I always say God knows what I do, and for that, I thank God and the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe: I am catholic, and I will continue in my catholic faith until God gives me life.
